Company: Sharp Capital Advisors ("SHARP") is a boutique investment bank focused exclusively on the cannabis industry. We provide comprehensive financial services to cannabis businesses, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services.

Job Description: SHARP is seeking a talented and driven Investment Banking Analyst to join our team and focus on the dynamic and rapidly growing cannabis industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior team members in delivering best-in-class financial solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other financial transactions within the cannabis industry.

2. Conduct industry research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the cannabis market within each state in the U.S.

3. Prepare detailed financial models, including valuation analyses, DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.

4. Create compelling pitch materials, presentations, and marketing documents for client engagements.

5. Support due diligence efforts, including data room management, financial analysis, and coordination with legal and accounting advisors.

6. Collaborate with senior team members to develop strategic recommendations and insights for clients.

7. Maintain relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders in the cannabis industry.

8. Maintain the state-by-state industry overview on SHARP's website.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

2. 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related field.

3. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.

4. Knowledge of investment banking transaction processes and principles.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and documents.

6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to contribute to its growth and development.
