WELCOME TO THE TEAM

The European Site & Network Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at these sites. This ensures the basic supply of the company's divisions, enabling them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to the plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory law.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our unit, Technical Plant Monitoring, is responsible as a testing organization for inspections of monitored systems at BASF SE's Ludwigshafen site, as well as for the conformity assessment of pressure equipment as a notified body according to the Pressure Equipment Directive.

You will carry out legally required inspections and expert opinions on aspects of plant safety and water law, and provide advice on technical issues and legally compliant implementation.
You will work in interdisciplinary cooperation with plant operators and specialist departments for non-destructive testing methods, materials engineering, welding, and process control technology.
You will continuously monitor changes and developments in the plants and maintain a professional exchange of experience with colleagues and specialist departments.
