Bassfield 'Training as a Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d)

As a trainee in civil engineering, you will primarily work outdoors on various construction sites.

You will carry out earthworks, such as creating building pits, and prepare construction sites by securing them and requesting the necessary machinery.

You will always work according to detailed specifications and strict plans. You will operate machinery such as excavators, secure pits against sliding earth, or dry trenches and construction areas.

Depending on the training location, you will choose a focus from the areas of road construction, pipeline construction, canal construction, well and special civil engineering, or track construction.

In road construction, you will level and pave traffic routes, while in pipeline construction, you will be responsible for laying gas and water pipes as well as cable ducts.

With a focus on canal construction, you will pave canals, build entry shafts, and create house connections.

In well and special civil engineering, you will be involved in the installation of water pumping systems, while as a track builder, you will lay rails, for example.

Duration: 2 years (possibility of further training as a pipeline builder in the 3rd year of training)
