- Perform any general cleaning tasks as assigned by manager.
- Assist with resetting tables as needed.

- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders.
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift.

This task is to be handled in an efficient and professional manner.
Average Percentage ofTimeESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS5%Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.20%Greet the guests in a timely and friendly manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions. Market and upsell as prescribed.10%Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy of food and beverage order.15%Input the order into the Point of Sale computer. Follow record and collect procedures.20%Retrieve completed food and beverage orders, assess for accuracy, deliver to guest with appropriate condiments. EXPERIENCEPrefer six (6) months to one-year previous serving experience. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATESMust obtain any government required licenses or certificates. Examples include a Washington Health Card Permit; Oregon Liquor Service Permit; Alcohol Service Permit. CPR certification and/or 1st Aid Training preferred.
GROOMING/UNIFORMSAll employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.
NOTICE:Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including lbs. . may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
