Job Description:

This role qualifies for a remote work arrangement with occasional in-person expectations.


OVERVIEW


Oversee and execute HR process improvements through cross-functional engagement to support achievement of business goals, guiding change management through project conception to implementation, and addressing systems standards, departmental policy administration, and data governance/integrity throughout the process.


RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Partner with HR department leadership and teams to assess, integrate, and optimize process improvement concepts, standards, and policies to improve productivity, strengthen controls, and ensure resource allocations to better serve both internal and external customers.
  • Facilitate meetings with interdepartmental groups to understand processes, share ideas, identify root causes, and provide recommendations and guidance in change proposals to improve customer experience, reduce waste, and/or eliminate duplication.
  • Utilize data and analysis of operational impacts to evaluate the cost/benefit of current processes and proposed efficiencies and improvements with an emphasis on technology.
  • Seek innovative alternatives and respectfully challenges current methodologies by presenting new or creative solutions, fostering a culture of best-in-class service, continuous improvement, and learning.
  • Understand and communicate broader impacts on process improvements and on-going initiatives that may impact stakeholder' ability or capacity to adopt change; identify and present risks (oral or written) to HR senior leadership for awareness, decisions, and action.
  • Gather benchmarking data, create/update metrics, and audit processes to ensure established goals are met and process improvements are sustained.
  • Collaborate with other business units to understand department support needs relative to change and/or upcoming projects and initiatives within greater HR areas; measure and analyze the impact to the department (both process and resource based) in supporting business needs and changes.
  • Develop and design procedures, and control standards for HR processes, as assigned; ensure processes are aligned with identified compliance requirements for employee lifecycle processes.
  • Stay current and update job knowledge by reading professional publications, participating in educational opportunities, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, management, or business related field is required; focus on process optimization preferred.
Experience

  • Minimum 4 years' combined experience in project management, organization process improvement, change management, business analysis, innovation, or related area required.
Licenses/Certifications

  • Six sigma certification preferred
  • International Institute of Business Analysis certification preferred
