Eligible for Shift Differentials:
additional pay premiums to compensate employees for working hours and shifts other than regular day shifts.

Here's how it works:
(example: If starting pay is $18.36)

  • 3% for evening shifts (range starts at $18.91 per hour)
  • 5% for NOC shifts (range starts at $19.28 per hour)
  • 7% for weekend shifts (range starts at $19.65 per hour)
  • Differentials can be used in combination with others, for example
  • 10% for weekend evening shift (range starts at $20.20 per hour)
  • 12% for weekend NOC shift (range starts at $20.56 per hour)

What Makes This Position Special? **Responsible for providing direct assistance and care to assigned residents under the supervision of the Director of Residential Health Services or Assisted Living Manager and shift charge nurse.


What You'll Do**:


  • Promotes independence while assisting residents with activities of daily living including but not limited to personal hygiene, dressing, ambulation, and meal service in accordance with the care plan.
  • Encourages socialization and physical activity by transporting or escorting residents to meals, activities, appointments, and outings as required.
  • Observes resident regularly and reports any change in the condition to supervisor and nurse on duty. Records changes and observations in electronic medical record system.

The Skills You'll Need:


  • High school education preferred, or up to six months related experience and/or training.
  • Must have First Aid Certification.
  • Basic computer skills with experience using electronic medical records/charting required.
  • Must be willing and able to walk for multiple hours per shift with ease.
