WHAT'S IMPORTANT IN BRIEF?

Biological laboratory technicians prepare biological experiments, conduct them together with scientists, and evaluate the results.

WHO?

The minimum requirement is a secondary school diploma. Important skills include understanding of natural sciences and mathematics, proficiency in English, and careful work.

WHERE?

Trainees learn in the chemistry training laboratory as well as in various institutes of the Juelich Research Center, in non-company measures at the company Gruenenthal in Aachen, and at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences.

They attend the Simmerath/Stolberg vocational college of the Aachen region in Stolberg.

HOW LONG?

The training lasts for three years.
