As part of our expansion, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Drop Bury Technicians to join our team.


We are looking for experienced Drop Bury Technicians to perform underground cable burial and installation tasks for our telecommunications projects.

As a BCS Drop Bury Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of cables according to company standards and specifications.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform underground cable burial and installation in accordance with BCS guidelines and procedures.
  • Operate equipment such as trenchers, excavators, and cable plows to bury cables safely and efficiently.
  • Use maps and schematics to locate existing cables and avoid damage to underground utilities.
  • Inspect work sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from customers regarding the drop bury process.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, construction, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of underground utility locating techniques and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.

Job Type:
Contract


Pay:
$ $1,013.47 per week


Payment frequency:

  • 1099 contract
  • Paid biweekly

Physical setting:

  • Construction site
  • Outdoor work

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 100% travel

Ability to Relocate:

  • Pasadena, TX: Relocate before starting work (required)
