Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Bavaria, Germany

Our client is a leading company in the lithium-ion battery manufacturing industry. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of pilot-scale technologies and driving the industrialization process towards full-scale manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in developing and scaling up manufacturing equipment or processes from pilot-scale to full-scale production.
  • Ability to lead complex mechanical design projects from concept to implementation.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing, and proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, particularly related to battery manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on developing and scaling up manufacturing equipment or processes.
  • Proven track record of leading complex mechanical design projects from concept to implementation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
