Job Summary
The HSSU/Millipore Sigma Middle School STEM Camp is a two-week residential summer program focusing on different sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics, and life science topics. It is designed for 25 middle school students (5, 6, 7, and 8 graders) from across metro St. Louis and statewide Missouri to engage in experiential learning experiences on campus. The program dates are Sunday, July 14, 2024, through Friday, July 26, 2024.
Essential Functions
The HSSU/Millipore Sigma Middle School Math Teacher will teach the K-12 students different "Show-Me-State Standards" STEM concepts.
Minimum Education and Experience
The HSSU/Millipore Sigma Middle School Math Teacher will be familiar with teaching math topics to underrepresented students, at either a secondary school or as an adjunct math teacher/ faculty at an HBCU.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To engage with middle school students so that they will learn various STEM topics and Show-Me-State Standards during the summer program.
