- Review specifications, technical manuals, and other technical documentation that relate to submarine HM&E & communication systems
- Assist other engineers and scientists in systems engineering and project management tasks for assigned projects
- Provide direct support to the assigned program technical manager
- Assist with research of technical information to support design & integration of submarine systems
- Support project planning and execution efforts for research, development, investigations, analysis, and testing
- Utilize RDT&E to recommend improvements in design, operation, maintenance and safety for assigned systems and equipment
- Provide supporting technical and logistics documentation relative to recommended design improvements and performance requirements
- Resolve all equipment and systems issues with the appropriate Subject Matter Expert(s)
- Provide technical advice and guidance to junior and senior engineers
- Providing program level support for shipboard advanced Submarine towed buoy systems, distribution systems, by collaboration and teaming efforts with the fleet, Naval Activities, government agencies, contractors, and other NSWC branches
- Provide direct support for system design maturity, execution, and fielding of submarine HM&E communication systems.
- B.S. Engineering and 5+ years of experience with submarine systems or equivlent work experience as an US Navy veteran
- One of these certs CISSP, CAP, CASP+, CE CISM or GSLC
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Candidate must have active Top Secret clearance or be clearable
- Up to 20% travel CONUS
- Experience in engineering, design, fabrication, and testing of prototype equipment
- Ship propulsion systems, power distribution, machinery controls design development and test
- Submarine Systems in the area of design and modifications of experience US Navy HM&E Submarine Communication and Electromagnetic Systems
- Submarine Systems, including the Ohio Replacement Program, Virginia Class Program, Seawolf Class Program, Moored Training Ship (MTS) Program, Multimission Platform Program (MMP), Advanced Seal Delivery System (ASDS), and Joint Multi mission Submersible (JMMS) Program
- Naval experience in engineering disciplines

Responsibilities:
Noblis MSDs mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Noblis MSD is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer.
Systems Engineer candidates will have advanced experience in design and integration of US Navy HM&E submarine communication and electromagnetic systems.
Configuration changes, documentation, and procurements; experience with material management is preferred. Additionally support various hull, mechanical and electrical systems (HM&E), and research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) programs for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). Position may be located out of various submarine bases in the US.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis total compensation package for employees.
Posted Salary Range:USD $103, USD $181,700.00 /Yr.
