Description

We are a small credit recovery charter high school located off the I-17 and Glendale Ave that has been serving the families of our community for 24 years.

We offer high school age students the opportunity to participate in a trimester based academic program consisting of (3) sixty day sessions, 180 days of school.

We are looking to fill two teaching positions for the school year (August through May) in any of the following content areas: US History/World History/Government/Economics, Science, Mathematics, and English.

• Oversee computer curriculum lesson plans already created that meet state standards.
• Provide mentoring to students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
• Participate in our High School Prom, spirit weeks, field trips, and graduation ceremony.

• Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience working with high school students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Teaching experience a plus
