Job Summary:
An Applied Behavior Analysis Technician is responsible for successfully conducting ABA therapy with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Behavior technicians also maintain communication with their Clinical Director, assigned Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Program Coordinators, client families/guardians, and coworkers to promote continued success in the behavior of their clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Partners in Autism's company cultural standards and best practices
- Provide oneonone ABA therapy to children
- Collect acquisition and behavioral data
- Assist clients as needed to acquire skills based on the individual ITP
- This may include but is not limited to: toilet training, eating, selfhelp skills, etc.
- Complete daily progress notes, parent communication notes, and any other regularly required communication and documentation in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a safe work environment for all clients/staff
- Participate in the cleaning of client rooms and maintain cleanliness in other common areas in the clinic
- Adhere to all confidentiality (HIPAA) regulations and Partners in Autism policies
- Actively attend and participate in staff training, meetings, and other events
- Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with clients/families, BCBAs, Behavior Technicians, and all other staff
- Respond effectively to crisis situations which may include a client's physical aggression
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by Director/Owner
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma
- Must pass a thorough background check
- Must complete 40 hours of RBT training and a Competency Assessment or have a current RBT certification
- Must obtain a passing score on the RBT exam and continue to maintain RBT Certification annually
- Previous experience working with children with special needs or in a related field is preferred
- Must complete all company orientations, Health & Safety Training, and SafetyCare
Physical Qualifications
Must be able to do activities as required to work directly with clients, which may include being able to bend, stoop, pull, push, walk, reach, lift, climb stairs, run without assistance, and lift at least 50 lbs.

$ $20.00 per hour
