Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Support the Bids and Proposals team in providing contract analysis and review of solicitations, bids and tenders.
- Review of contractual documents and negotiation of terms and conditions. Analyze contractual requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure contract review, approval and execution in accordance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures.
- Work with business stakeholders, functional counterparts, and customers to resolve contractual issues.
- Communicate contract policy and practice to internal business teams.
- Act as custodian of contractual records for assigned contracts.
- Prepare and administer correspondence, negotiation memoranda, supporting documents, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal.
- Interact daily with Senior and Executive Management, Program Managers, and other operational representatives.
- Handle confidential and nonroutine information.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to members of Contracts Department staff.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ years of contract administration and contract management experience, including a full range of commercial (U.S. and nonU.S.) and government (U.S. and nonU.S.) contract types.
- Proven experience supervising staff at the manager level.
- Must have experience in solicitation analysis, risk assessment, contract negotiation, and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with both internal and external customers.
- Thorough knowledge of all appropriate ethical standards regarding contracting actions.
- Experience working with a Product Manufacturing Company desired.
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of commercial contract terms and conditions.
- Must have the ability to make sound business judgments, handle multiple contractual activities with a short turnaround time, and work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and detail oriented with the ability to communicate effectively, solve problems and create trusting relationships with both internal and external clients in a quick turnaround environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing urgencies.
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs; travel required <5%.
