StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full

  • Time, Financial Analyst, Junior to support our NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River, MD. The position supports a hybrid work schedule. The Financial Analyst, Junior will be responsible for but not limited to the following requirements.

Essential Job Duties:


  • Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions.
  • Provides financial and accounting support to the activity Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, or other organizational support elements and other activities.
  • Performs budgeting, funding execution, acquisition, document management, and financial and data analysis to provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of financial resources.
  • Utilizes NERP to perform financial execution and reconciliation functions.
  • Provides support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls, which could have significant impact to the organization and its business operations.

Travel Requirements:


  • N/A

Required Experience:


  • Less than three years' experience performing duties described in the functional description with an emphasis on financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates and program status reports.

Desired Experience:


  • Two years of financial management experience with DoN procurement policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of NERP, and CSPT.
  • DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR).
  • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Planning, PPBE process.

Education Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree.

Security Requirements:


  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
