Description

The job of an electronics technician for industrial engineering involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, production equipment, and process plants, including control and monitoring systems, energy supply systems, and communication and lighting systems.

These technicians primarily work for manufacturers of industrial process control equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and measurement, control, and regulation systems.

The requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, good mathematical skills, a strong understanding of physical processes, quick learning abilities, logical thinking, and the ability to work well in a team.

Additional training opportunities are available for those interested in becoming a master technician, industrial foreman, or state-certified technician. The apprenticeship program lasts for 3.5 years and takes place at our facility in Amberg, located at Rosenthalstr. 12, 92224 Amberg. The vocational school for this program is also located in Amberg.
