- Assist in the preparation of monthly fuel and sales tax returns
- Analyzing data to determine reasonableness
- Prepare month-end GL account reconciliations and necessary journal entries for multiple tax related accounts and numerous taxes/fees
- Prepare responses to tax authority inquiries
- Performing research with respect to tax notices and responses as necessary
- Support the indirect tax audit function with data compilation to support audit responses and requests for information
- Other duties as assigned
- Pursuing Accounting or Tax related degree with rising junior status in the fall
- Advanced excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
