    We are currently searching for dedicated Press Brake Operators to join our team.

    Olympic Industries began operations in 1959 with the goal of becoming the most reliable and trusted source for steel fabrication services in the area.

    By combining the finest metal-working craftsmen available and state of the art fabrication equipment, OI's goal is to constantly improve and evolve while earning customer respect along every step of the way.

    Today, Olympic Industries has a combined production area of over 50,000 square feet, with state-of-the-art laser, punch press, press brake, welding, and milling machinery.

    What is a Press Brake?A press brake is a machine pressing tool for bending sheet and plate material, most commonly sheet metal.

    It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching punch and die.

    Typically, two C-frames form the sides of the press brake, connected to a table at the bottom and on a movable beam at the top.

    The bottom tool is mounted on the table, with the top tool mounted on the upper beam.


    In this role, you will:
    Operate and set up Press Brake machinesEnsure compliance with company safety and quality standardsRead and decipher blueprintsHave opportunity to cross train into different departments (laser, punch, weld, and machining)

    Other duties as assignedTo succeed in this role, you must:

    Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring toolsHave good math ability and problem solving skillsRead and interpret blueprints efficientlyStand continuously and lift objects up to 50 poundsDemonstrate safety in the press brake operation processApply online today for consideration-let's build a successful future together Please note that we are currently accepting online applications only.
