Job Summary:
Performs related duties and general maintenance work is required.
Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of the building/studios and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Cleaning and stock restrooms.
- Ensure that doors are locked and the building is armed after hours.
- Collect and dispose of any trash and cleans sidewalks.
- Performs snow/ice removal.
- Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
- Performing Preventative Maintenance.
- Handling basic repair and maintenance.
- Assist in setting up Studios/Rooms for special events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of proper and safe use of applicable custodial equipment.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Appropriate maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives.
- Adequate/reasonable oral and written communication skills.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturday.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work well alone and in a team.
