The Position:
We are seeking an office manager who has experience in managing a medical practice and as a medical assistant (with MA certificate).
This means managing, leading and coordinating the various office staff, including our receptionist and medical assistants, always prioritizing quality service and patient satisfaction.
You will assess and resolve any employee issues that arise, with the goal of maintaining a supportive environment that helps everyone thrive.
You will also be the point person for patient communications, handling any complaints with a compassionate and friendly demeanor.
When our medical assistants need additional help, you will be available to assist in rooming patients and obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
You will analyze and organize office operations and procedures such as distributions of forms, flow of correspondence, electronic document filing, requisition of supplies, and coordination with our billing department.
Other duties include:
Overseeing the maintenance of business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
- Maintaining a pleasant and clean reception area.
- Assisting the physicians in medication refills and prescriptions.
- Managing provider schedules and concierge appointments.
- Scanning, uploading, and retrieving medical records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred
- Office management experience (Extensive experience may be considered equivalent to education)
- Certification obtained from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Experience with EMR, Quickbooks and Excel.
Benefits:
Hourly compensation ranging from $25 to $26 depending on experience.
10 Paid Vacation Days per year
