Currently, we have an immediate opening for a
Delivery Driver who will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering heating oil to residential and commercial customers in the Ridgefield, Danbury, and New Milford areas, ensuring timely and efficient service.

This person will also operate a company vehicle, maintain accurate delivery records, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements standards.

Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, some overtime as needed


Required Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazardous materials (Hazmat) and tanker endorsements
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Ability to safely operate and maneuver delivery trucks in various weather conditions
  • Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes in the area
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording delivery transactions
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, including loading and unloading fuel tanks
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience as a delivery driver in the fuel oil industry
  • Familiarity with heating oil delivery equipment and procedures
  • Knowledge of fuel oil storage tanks, gauges, and safety devices
  • Mechanical aptitude for performing basic maintenance and inspections on delivery vehicles
  • Understanding of environmental regulations related to fuel handling and spill prevention
  • Customer service training or experience in a clientfacing role
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
