Job Summary:

The Funding Specialist - MWH processes wire request for mortgage originators for funding at title. Acts as the primary contact for Mortgage Warehouse customers in processing their loan funding requests.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Responsible for maintaining wire que for funding's including draws and additional funds.
  • Completes accurate screening of all wire request to ensure they are in guidelines of originators agreement in a timely manner
  • Communities with credit to get exceptions approved that are not in originators agreement.
  • Engages in communication with originator funding staff to clear exceptions
  • Update Fed Reference in warehouse system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Update management of pending issues or delays of funding's.

Job Skills and Qualifications:


  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a facedpaced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills; Experience; Certifications
years' experience in warehouse lending, mortgage operations or banking operations.

Education/Certifications (required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

Work environment and Physical demands:

The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will regularly sit; talk; hear; and use hands to finger, handle or feel.

The employee will occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Special vision requirements include close, distant, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment and physical demands are those of a standard office setting.
