    Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

    Unity is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to patients, supporting daily activities, and offering companionship and support. This role is for a float based out of Green Bay, WI but can travel for coverage in areas of Marinette, Sturgeon Bay, and Shawano.


    Schedule: Monday through Friday 7a-3p with weekend and on-call rotation, 2 holidays per year


    Key Job Duties:
    Unity CNA staff can perform services/support in the following areas as directed by the RN:

    • Activities of Daily Living
    • Restorative Care
    • Skin Care
    • Mobility
    • Nutritional Support
    • Respiratory
    • Bowel and Bladder
    • Reinforce Teaching
    • Supply ordering
    • Companionship and Support
    • Vital Signs
    • Reading of CADD pump settings
    • Report on pain rating
    • Maintain required competencies and skills
    • Report any changes in the patient's condition or family situation immediately to the appropriate member(s) of the interdisciplinary team
    • Consistently and concisely document activity according to department protocols and standards.
    • Comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Unity
    • Satisfy mandatory training requirements regarding local, state and federal regulations and/or Unity's policies and procedures
    • Promote and maintain confidentiality
    • Maintain personal and professional boundaries
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
    • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
    • Shares in providing 24-hour, seven day-a-week coverage

    Requirements:

    Qualifications

    • Completion of certified nursing assistant program, OR
    • Nursing student who has completed one semester of a clinical experience
    • Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry and be eligible to work at state and federally certified facilities
    • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License, reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
