    Certified Nursing Assistant - Meng Residence (PRN)

    Unity is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to patients, supporting daily activities, and offering companionship and support to patients are our Meng Residence.

    Schedule: PRN - Minimum of picking up 2 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts of days/pms/nights/weekends

    Key Job Duties:

    As the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will provide services and support under the direction of the RN while performing them with compassion and care. Providing mobility support, respiratory care, nutritional support, bowel and bladder management, monitoring vital signs, reading of CADD pumps, skin care, help with daily living activities, ordering supplies, offering companionship and support, pain report, and communicating any changes to the appropriate team members.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:

    Communicate with all interdisciplinary team members

    Promote and maintain confidentiality

    Maintain personal and professional boundaries

    Maintain regular and reliable attendance

    Prioritize daily work and make adjustments taking into account the needs of patients, Unity, and other staff.

    Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Unity.

    Satisfy mandatory training requirements regarding local, state, and federal regulations and/or Unity's policies and procedures.

    Physical and Environmental Requirements

    Essential Physical/Environmental/Technical Skills:

    Employees must have the ability to; operate computers, telephones, and other office equipment, communicate both verbally and in writing, sit for prolonged periods of time as required by position, walk, bend and lift up to 35 pounds on occasion, organize and prioritize tasks.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications

    • Completion of certified nursing assistant program, OR
    • Nursing student who has completed one semester of a clinical experience
    • Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry and be eligible to work at state and federally certified facilities
    • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License, reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
