    We are Berghorst Food Service located in Grandville. As a small family owned and operated company, we are offering a position delivering to our customers throughout Michigan.

    We service grocery stores and restaurants fresh meats, produce and other items. The best part of working for us is the consistent route schedule. Each day you know when you start, where you are going and when you will return. You are home every evening and weekends so you can have a "life" outside of work. This is a great option for anyone who has family or other obligations in the evenings and weekends.

    We are seeking a Driver with a Class A and/or B CDL License. We are seeking a driver to join our team You will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen foods to grocery stores and restaurants on a dedicated route while safely operating either refer box trucks and/or day cab tractor trailers. Our delivery footprint consist of about 60% of the state of Michigan.

    We are offering a 40 – 45 hour work week Monday – Friday. The job pays $22.00 an hour with full benefits, matching 401k and life insurance. So check us out and give us a call. We would love to discuss an opportunity to work with you.

    Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
    • Load and unload cargo
    • Properly track and document activity log
    • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
    • Pre trip inspections
    • Customer Service representative

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in truck driving helpful
    • Commercial driver's license
    • Ability to handle physical workload
    • Strong work ethic
