West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and included a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.
We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage.
West Oaks Hospital is seeking a responsible, friendly, and safety conscious
Driver/Patient Transportation to work in the Southwest Houston area Per Diem as needed Monday - Friday 8a-5p to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
The Driver would be
based at the Hornwood Branches Outpatient Center and will transport patients to and from the clinics for scheduled directed by the Manager, Outpatient Services, Program Therapists and Nurses to provide supervision, safety and crisis management for the patient population.
Job duties:
- Patient Transportation and errands to the hospital
- Responds to behavior crisis and assists with crisis intervention
- Assists with clerical duties and miscellaneous needs in the clinic

Requirements:
- Education Required: High school diploma or GED. Current Texas driver's license with good driving record,
- Licensure and certification Required: CPR certification and hospital deescalation certifications.
- Experience Required: Six months of driving and customer service experience
Preferred:
One year experience as a mental health worker.
