- Assessment and reassessment of patients
- Development of care plans
- Implementation of appropriate interventions

- Supervision and coordination of care provision by other licensed and non-licensed staff
- Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or a multistate license from an eNLC member state
- Current BLS certification upon hire or completion within 30 days of hire
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Completion of department-specific competencies during orientation
- Current CPR certification is required instead of BLS. CHPN certification preferred
- Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, ability to drive, and proof of automobile liability insurance
- Current ACLS certification is mandatory

The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing and providing patient care using the nursing process. They may need to float to other units and be on call when required. This position involves specific competencies for different populations and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals depending on patient interaction levels. The Staff Registered Nurse's responsibilities in managing and documenting patient care include, but are not restricted to:

Mental Health staff should be capable of assisting with patient restraint using the identified Behavior Management Technique System. This position may have varying physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements.
