Description

We are seeking a part-time accounts receivable and accounts payable clerk to support our private school's Business Office

This individual will:

Handle accounts receivable payments:

Sync and record credit card payment (Stripe) deposits in QBO
Investigate and properly classify otherwise unknown charges
Sync tuition management system (BigSIS) with QBO
Maintain customer data in QBO, eliminating duplicates
Run payroll sync from ADP to QBO
Generate payment reports from tuition management system
Update receivables and unpaid invoices as needed.

Handle accounts payable processing:

Input, scan and prepare accounts payable for processing in Bill

Support business office:

Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes accounting and school mission by completing related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial roles.
Intermediate in Excel
QuickBooks Online, data entry and recordkeeping.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Knowledge of schools, nonprofits, development of capital, budgets, and/or human resources a plus.
