Work Hours:10-month position; Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; some after-school events required


Position Start Date:

Salary Range:
$46,500-$50,000 year


Job Summary:

The Benedictine Schools of Richmond seek an innovative, collaborative, high school French teacher. Experience necessary. This is a full-time position that begins mid-August.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
  • Degree in French
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach French through the AP level.
  • Support the mission of the school, model its Benedictine values, and journey with students as they become confident, competent, and compassionate men and women.
  • Utilize the school's student information system to post assignments, units of study, and related course materials to support student selfinitiative and selfadvocacy.
  • Assume standard noncurricular responsibilities assigned to all faculty.
