The Graduate Providence, a 294-room hotel located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island, is a historic landmark. Overview:
The Bellperson plays a key role in assisting guests with their luggage during check-in and check-out, as well as throughout their stay, ensuring a courteous and efficient experience.

Responsibilities:
- Load and unload luggage carts
- Organize and transport luggage for group tours
- Escort guests to their rooms and introduce them to hotel services
- Inspect rooms to confirm readiness and sufficient supplies
- Provide instructions on room features and amenities
- Handle luggage storage and tagging for arrivals and departures
- Manage and deliver packages as required
- Relay messages to meeting rooms
- Deliver items such as flowers, laundry, and packages to guestrooms
- Assist with room changes
- Keep an updated list of local attractions and events
- Maintain information on local transportation options, churches, and sports venues
- Support guest requests alongside the Housekeeping team
- Ensure accuracy of lobby reader board
- Offer guidance, maps, and directions to guests
- Assist front desk agents with inquiries
- Showcase guestrooms and suites as needed, highlighting hotel amenities
- Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; prior hotel or related experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license for the relevant state (if necessary)
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
- Capable of standing for the duration of the shift
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in listening, understanding, and addressing employee and guest concerns
- Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality
