    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Analyst, Financial Systems, in the Finance Operations group, is responsible for the enhancement of financial operations, (areas including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Payroll, Billing, Collections, Accounts Receivable, and financial system reporting) through the use and adoption of new technology while maintaining close controls against fraud and additional risk. Emphasizes accuracy, timeliness and compliance internal controls and Company policy. Identifies financial operations shortcomings, proposes solutions, documents measurements for success, tests and deploys the solution with a relentless drive towards training, efficiency, and accuracy.

    Essential Functions Statement(s)

    • Gather requirements from financial system users and prioritize initiatives to meet Company objectives.
    • Partner with other departments to provide support, guidance, coordination, and process streamlining.
    • Executes, develops, and reports on SOX controls for financial systems in scope as change management lead.
    • Acts as the system administrator of the financial ERP, coordinating approval of any system configurations, leadership of upgrades, and assurance of accuracy and compliance while guiding the team to safeguard confidential information and ensure compliance.
    • Gains and maintains expertise and knowledge associated with the position including, but not limited to, Security Admin training, vendor terms, records retention, and Sox/Change control requirements.
    • Maintains customer relationships with our primary financial systems users and organizes requirements for bug fix or enhancement requests and leads discussion for prioritization.
    • Coordinates releases, associated testing by business users and roadmap for Financial Operations enhancements and initiatives.
    • Safeguards data integrity for supplier, customer, employee, banking, and transactional records.
    • Recommends financial operational policies and procedures and maintains appropriate documentation and detail in accordance with financial operations responsibilities and initiatives.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Education: Bachelor's degree in business / finance / accounting /computer science or related degree.

    Experience: Four (4) years' experience in a professional position. Use of financial data and systems is a plus.

    Computer Skills
    • Demonstrate proficiency working with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Extensive knowledge of complex ERPs, Workday is a plus.
    • Experience with Regulatory and SOX compliance.
    • Comfort level with new technology and related research for self-taught learning.
    • Highly organized.
