Case Manager is responsible for handling caseload of 45-65 clients.The main responsibility of CM is to ensure clients' authorization for wraparound services known as IBHS and ABA obtained in timely fashion from the managed care companies (Magellan and CCBH) and few private insurances.
The CM works with parent (of the clients who receive these services), insurance companies and clinicians/employees of the agency to coordinate timely authorization and re-authorization of these services.
The authorization is renewed in most cases once a year, so CM is working actively on about 4-8 clients's authorization a month.
The CM is responsible for taking new clients for the clinicians who have opening for additional services, securing authorization for services for these clients and assigning them to the clinicians.
The remaining time is spent on daily routines of following through with any other aspect of case management including taking calls from consumers of the services, clinicians and manage care companies.
CM works closely with billing department, program director and supervisors.
This position offers a full-time employment, with health care, including dental, short-term, long-term disabilities and life insurance covered 100% by the company after a probationary period 90 days and pay adequate to experience and other qualifications.
We train for this position, at the job, for 3 months' probation period.
