Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
  • Dealing with Section 8 or LA Housing Tenants
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance work
  • Document expenses, invoices, receipts and warranties
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and other legal documents
  • Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and tenant information using property management software (AppFolio)
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding fair housing practices
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and minimize vacancies
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in property management

Skills:


  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in file management and record keeping
  • Knowledge of property management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with facilities management processes
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and customer service
  • Experience with legal administrative procedures related to property management
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs is a plus
  • Knowledge of AppFolio software is preferred

Pay:
$45, $50,328.10 per year
