- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and sensory capabilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and endurance.
- Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, psychologists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge recommendations in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Statelicensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with diverse populations across various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, schools, rehabilitation centers, and community-based programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others achieve their highest potential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
