    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our client's team. Your main task will be to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to create precise parts following specific requirements. The ideal candidate must have over 3 years of experience in CNC machining and a solid grasp of machining principles and techniques. This is a great opportunity to be part of an innovative manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Set up and run CNC lathe machines to manufacture accurate parts based on engineering drawings and instructions.
    • Select and place the right tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each task.
    • Make necessary machine tooling adjustments and changeovers.
    • Load materials into the machine and oversee the machining process for quality assurance.
    • Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to check part dimensions and tolerances.
    • Carry out regular maintenance on CNC lathe machines, including cleaning and lubrication.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve machine and tooling problems promptly to enhance productivity.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; preferential training in CNC machining.
    • 1 to 5 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing setting.
    • Solid understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, and methods.
    • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Experience in programming and modifying CNC lathe programs is beneficial.
    • Familiarity with G-code and CNC machine controls.
    • Adept at using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine and tooling challenges effectively.
