    Job description

    Our machine shop is in immediate need for a few CNC Lathe setup and Operator in the city of Garden Grove. This position is for 1st & 2nd shift with a lot of overtime.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.
    • Set up machine(s) and load with correct cutting tools.
    • Inspect work pieces throughout a production run.
    • Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.
    • Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts.
    • Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control employees and other personnel for assignments.
    • Resolve machining or quality issues.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have 4+ years of experience as a CNC Lathe Setup & Operator.
    • Machine set up experience.
    • Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries.
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing.

    DESIRABLE:

    • Mori Seiki machines helpful
    • Twin spindle is a plus

    SCHEDULE:

    Monday through Friday

    1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm

    2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00 pm to 2:30 am

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: From $22.00 per hour
