Description
We are seeking a skilled Collection Manager to join our team. Coordinates and performs credit and collections functions for FPM Heat Treating. Responsible for conducting credit investigations for new customers and collection of all accounts receivable. Provides on-going analysis of key metrics for the department. Responsible for daily cash reporting of company bank accounts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Establish and maintain effective collections with existing and new customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Conducts financial analysis including 3rd party report review.
  • Reviews collection reports to ascertain status of collection and balances outstanding ensuring the effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures and practices.
  • Conducts credit collections activities by prioritizing reviews for existing accounts, contact with sales and customers, coordinating with Customer Service, and ensuring that proper followup is done with errant accounts.
  • Reduce and maintain Daily Sales Outstanding to 45 days or better and Dollars Past 60 Days Due to less than $150k.
  • Ensure that all cash received is properly posted.
  • Coordinate monthly sales posting with senior accountant between Visual Shop invoicing system and Sage financial system.
  • Process credit memos and writeoffs.
  • Provide assistance to senior accountant with cash account reconciliations.
  • Assist with transition of accounts and processes to new bank.
  • Other duties as assigned or as required by the job.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:


  • Previous credit and collections experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must possess good mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Must be computer literate and able to setup spreadsheets and detailed reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Pay:
$70, $75,000.00 per year
