Alaris Health at Cedar Grove, a 217 bed-skilled nursing Center in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, seeks a dishwasher/utility aide to perform a combination of tasks to maintain the kitchen area in a clean and orderly condition

Additional responsibilities include:
- delivering and returning food carts to and from dining areas and the dish room
- scraping food from dirty dishes and placing them on racks for dish washing
- pre-soaking all dishes and containers as necessary and segregating and removing trash and disposing of it in a proper manner
- maintaining dish room cleanliness and cleaning all kitchen equipment
- and above all, ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights
- checking deliveries in and putting them away

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Ability to read, write, speak and follow written and oral instructions in the English language
Previous dishwashing experience is helpful
Working knowledge of sanitation practices related to dishwashing
Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
