The company supplies electricity and gas to more than 168,000 customers in the Hanseatic city and provides around 25 percent of Hamburg's commercial heat in the form of district heating. By 2030 at the latest, we will produce district heating without coal, and by 2045 we will be climate-neutral. With 900 employees, the Hamburg Energy Works makes the largest individual contribution to achieving the city's climate protection goals.

  • You will develop decarbonization strategies and transformation plans
  • You will create optimization models, for example to improve asset decisionmaking processes
  • You will work on setting targets for different asset categories at the Hamburg Energy Works
