EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


The Supervisor must have substantial and credible law enforcement / security, military or business management experience of 3 years minimum.

Various supervisory duties including scheduling, performance monitoring, assuring duties are being carried out per post orders.


Prerequisites:


  • US citizen (either by birth or naturalization)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a medical and physical standards examination
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently
  • 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyewear) state driver's license
  • Satisfy one of the following: 1) Two years of service in the US Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard); 2) Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer—armed or unarmed) and service with the US Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard; 3) Associate's Degree in a security or law enforcement field; or 4) Successful completion of a police officer's basic training academy
  • Ability to pass a background investigation
  • Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Washington DC Dept of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs unarmed security officer license.

Responsibilities:


  • Supervisor/manage daily operations for a federal government contract of over 75 Contract Security Officers (CSOs)
  • Verify post coverage by CSOs and work with federal government client's staff to manage shifts as necessary
  • Ensure CSOs complete designated training
  • Ensure CSOs obtain the Unarmed Security Guard License and maintain such according to this contract
  • Manage time and attendance; maintain post schedules; ensure posts are always manned
  • Compile and distribute reports
  • Serve as main point of contact for government client
  • Ensure contractual requirements are being met
  • Manage quality control program and conduct regular inspections
  • Ensure CSOs maintain satisfactory standards of conduct, competency, appearance, and integrity
  • Administer disciplinary and corrective actions as needed

$ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
