_Job Description_
Summary of Position:
Big Chill Beach Club is gearing up for another awesome summer season, and we're hiring Kitchen Expeditors to join the team The Expo at Big Chill Beach Club ensures our quality and product is served to each of our guests every time.
They also guarantee proper presentation in a timely manner, and ensure that each order has been prepared and assembled according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste.
The Expo makes sure the line is always stocked, clean, neat, and safe.They are the bridge between the front and back of the house, in addition to being the last line of defense for the guest.
Must Enjoy the RideDuties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain expert knowledge of our food offerings, recipes, procedures, and proper presentation
- Demonstrate expertise by communicating with guests and answering any questions about ingredients in dishes
- Work closely with service staff and kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently
- Follow the pace of each table and ensure servers are not rushing or lagging tables
- Show the staff genuine care and respect while pushing them to move faster, but remain efficient
- Maintain ability to keep calm under pressure and be the anchor of the restaurant
- Read tickets and get each order out in a timely manner
- Live the brand and be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the company at all times
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 6 months experience in a similar position
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests
- Must be clean, organized and able to project their voice
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Professional appearance, punctual, reliable
- Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to work in very fast paced environment
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Frequently walk and occasionally bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds as well as climbing up and down stairs quite frequently during shifts
Hours & Pay:
