PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) - Pinnacle Home Care, Florida

Position Summary: As an Occupational Therapist, you'll provide care according to standards for occupational therapy services, adhering to all conditions outlined in the Service Agreement and the state Occupational Therapy Practice Act.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' functional status and home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
Develop treatment programs, establish goals for improved function, and communicate plans to the care team.
May teach or retrain patients in daily activities, fabricate splints, and instruct in the use of adaptive equipment.
Maintain clinical records, communicate changes in patient's condition, and coordinate care with other professionals.
Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Licensed as an OT in Florida.
Two years of clinical experience.
Current BLS Certification.
Valid driver's license and insured automobile.
