- Evaluates patients, gathering data fromthe patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and
- Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and identify specific goals and objectives.
- Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served onthe
- Assesses data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each
- Competent in the use, care and maintenance of profession specific equipment, observes safety precautions and
- Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plan and goals when appropriate, and prepares written documentation as
- Recognizes and communicates when the patient has received optimal benefit from therapy.
- Ensures accurate billing.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in occupational therapy.
- Maintains current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida-temporary permit acceptable.
- Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
