- Work with business leaders and functions to identify and analyze major risks and to develop mitigation strategies/plans through internal audits and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Coordinates annual risk assessment work for ERM and internal audit.
- Provides support and guidance to the business in the areas of risk management and control environment.
- Evaluates the design of Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) controls established by the organization.
- Manages execution of testing of SOx controls to ensure their operational effectiveness, while partnering with the Corporate Controller and external auditors to address internal control deficiencies.
- Manages execution of audits, including planning, testing, and reporting, to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control environment in compliance with audit standards.
- Reviews key audit documentation to ensure compliance with audit quality standards.
- Ensures audit and SOx observations/deficiencies are well defined and documented accurately, clearly, and concisely, while ensuring full alignment with process owners.
- Communicates audit and SOx status, testing results, observations, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
- Prepares formal written reports to communicate audit and SOx results to management.
- Prepares ERM materials to be review by the Executive Risk Council, Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Develops relationships with business leaders to be considered a trusted business advisor.
- Assists in the management of ERM, audit and SOx schedules, including assigning resources according to availability, skills, and developmental needs.
- Manages, coaches, trains, and develops professional staff, including assessing performance and providing direct, meaningful, and timely feedback.
- Manages contracted audit staff.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field required. Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification required.
- Significant experience required, including supervisory experience.
- No less than 10 years of experience, preferred.
- At least 5 years of management experience, required.
- Manufacturing background, highly preferred.
- Big 4 experience ideal.

We are looking for a talented Audit Manager to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for working with business leaders and functions to identify and analyze major risks and to develop mitigation strategies/plans through internal audits and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. This role is classified as hybrid, there is a two day in-office requirement. Local candidates will be considered.
