    Description

    Marketing Specialist: Excellent opportunity with Florida Credit Union

    Location: Gainesville, FL

    About the job:

    Under the direction of the Senior VP of Marketing, plans, directs, and implements Florida Credit Union's PR marketing activities. Produces, or acts as liaison with firms that produce public relations materials, advertising, and marketing collateral.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote FCU's products/services
    • Responsible in the management and coordination of events and sponsorships, with heightened importance on back to school SEG events
    • Participating in Public Relations functions for the credit union i.e. creating presentations, speeches and press releases, appearing at credit union and community functions
    • Responsible for all internal FCU communication of marketing campaigns and interacting with Florida Credit Union staff related to marketing activities
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including branches, product teams, and design, to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives
    • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing to continuously improve strategies and tactics
    Preferred requirements:
    • AS/AA or higher from a two-year college or a four-year university
      • 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in relation to personnel.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Creative writing skills
    • Project management skills
    • MS Office
    • Video editing knowledge a plus but not required
