    Join Our Team as a Full Store Service Representative at Novo Building Products

    Novo Building Products is a renowned manufacturer and distributor of stair parts, doors, and specialty millwork, located in Zeeland, Michigan. The company operates Ornamental Decorative Millwork, L.J. Smith Stair Systems, and Novo Direct.

    Position Summary:

    The role involves providing full store service to Novo Distribution's National Home Center (NHC) account within a designated territory of stores.

    Duties include:

    • Merchandising products within stores
    • Writing credits for damaged products
    • Managing customer inventories
    • Providing training on products
    • Conducting resets and training

    This position is focused on service rather than sales.

    Starting at $42,000 per year, the role offers a competitive salary, monthly car allowance, mileage, bonus potential, and benefits.

    The territory covers areas including Vestal, Norwich, Cortlandville, and Oneonta.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Travel to assigned stores on a regular schedule
    • Stock replenishment orders within 48 hours
    • Maintain strong relationships with store personnel
    • Conduct focus and cycle counts adjustments
    • Maintain product appearance in stores
    • Provide training to store personnel
    • Analyze performance and recommend changes
    • Facilitate store reset activities
    • Manage expenses per corporate policies
    • Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Flexible work schedule
    • Strong communication skills in English
    • Ability to foster professional relationships

    Travel Requirements:

    • Ability for overnight travel
    • Travel expenses covered
    • Must be able to drive to stores

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing and walking - 100%
    • Bending or twisting - up to 60%
    • Lifting - various weights
    • Pushing/pulling with wheeled equipment
