Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in our low volume direct primary care clinic.
This is a full-time position located in a family practice in Round Rock.Duties:
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Collect patient medical history and update electronic health records.
- Phlebotomy.
- Provide support to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required
- CPR certification is required
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
