    We are a dynamic and fast-growing medical device company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes. As we expand our operations into injection molding, we are seeking a talented and driven Scientific Injection Molding Engineer/Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to lead validation efforts, establish robust processes, and contribute to the development of a key competency within our organization.

    Job Description:

    Responsibilities:

    Lead the validation process for new injection molding equipment, including thermoplastic and heat-cured silicone elastomer presses.

    Set up and optimize injection molding processes to ensure product quality and consistency.

    Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of injection molding techniques, equipment, materials, and quality standards.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate injection molding processes into our manufacturing operations.

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within the injection molding department.

    Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex molding issues.

    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical device manufacturing.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field.

    Experience in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, and materials, preferably in a medical device or regulated industry.

    Strong understanding of thermoplastics, silicone elastomers, robotics, automation, and hot runner systems.

    Proven track record of leading validation projects and establishing manufacturing processes.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, interruption-prone environment.

    Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software tools.

    Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

    Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

    Self-confident, trustworthy, and able to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
