    About the Job Position:


    As a Supervisor in our Operating Company (OpCo), your main responsibility is to oversee and train drivers, ensuring that deliveries are carried out safely, efficiently, and punctually. Your role involves monitoring Department of Transportation (DOT) logs, guaranteeing that drivers adhere to all DOT and OpCo standards, and managing the tracking of driver-related data. You will collaborate with the team and undertake any necessary tasks to contribute to the success of the company.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervising team members, including activities such as recruitment, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and issue resolution. You will also assist in scheduling and ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Additionally, you may accompany drivers for training or evaluations.
    • Supporting the Transportation/Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of transportation and delivery operations. This includes tasks such as payroll calculation, reviewing trip logs and expense reports, problem-solving, and ensuring driver compliance with regulations. You will utilize computer systems for data entry and access.
    • Overseeing driver safety practices, including vehicle safety, proper equipment usage, seat belt policies, safe lifting techniques, and attendance at safety meetings.
    • Managing the tracking of driver information such as licenses, citations, accidents, and other safety data.
    • Ensuring accuracy in all delivery and driver-related documentation, including invoices, trip reports, fuel records, DOT logs, and more.
    • Performing detailed inspections of trucks, tractors, and trailers to ensure proper maintenance post-trip.
    • Collaborating with the Transportation or Operations Manager to optimize operational costs and enhance delivery route efficiency.
    • Completing any other assigned tasks as necessary.
