Managing Director (m/f/d) for Research Focus 1 "Sustainable Planning, Building, and Economics" to start as soon as possible.

Employment is part-time at 50%.

Your main tasks include:


  • Strategic and structural development of Research Focus
  • Development of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects in the field of the research focus
  • Establishment and maintenance of a scientific and nonacademic network
  • Implementation of a quality management and assurance system
  • Consulting and support for members of the research focus in acquisition, project initiation, and implementation
  • Public relations

Your profile:


  • Successfully completed university degree (master's or university diploma) in the field of energy technology, energy economics, building physics, urban infrastructure, or similar
  • Own experience in science, preferably proven by a doctorate
  • Experience in thirdparty funded research (grant applications, project coordination)
  • Practical experience in the development
